Once again that is because the cams are independently driven vs having that sync gear in place.

Regrinds can be bad depending on WHO does it...also weld and regrinds are the worst unless they are properly hardened again afterwards. My cams all still have the factory toyota hardening still on it as the grinder knows what he is doing. Watch out where you take your cams to be grinded as lots of people may be able to do it but how good they do it makes the biggest difference.
