My 3sgte is apart now and since I need pistons and a crank (which is cracked), I figure maybe i should just get a stroker kit and likely eagle rods while I'm at it. I'm wondering a couple things though:
I don't imagine any tuning is required or alternate timing compared to stock right? Is there anything I should consider when I have the builder install these parts? what about a better fuel pump, as I'm sure the engine would be require more fuel.
Wouldn't increasing displacement by 20% cause an approximate 20% increase in power? I don't understand TreyMR2's comment above. I don't see why other modifications would be necessary to see the benefit of a longer stroke on an otherwise stock motor? If someone could shed some light on that it'd be appreciated.
