I don't know the details as to why he would be driving so fast on a public road, but something to think about : If you think someone is going to be impressed by you driving like a nut on the street, then they are not worth impressing.

Ben wasn't the type of person to show off anything. You gotta think that he was the type of person to put every penny he earned into a car that we took under our wing to make it into exactly what he wanted. The car itself was all stock N/A with nothing done to the engine to make it fast. What makes this harder for everyone here is that they were both 2 houses away from getting home. And yes, we did lose 2 MR2 owners in the whole ordeal as I knew them personally and take up for them and can vouch that they both knew what the car could handle. It was the other car in the opposing lane that cause that terrible event to unfold the way it did.
