In short I had this car FULLY restored back in about 2003. Full paint job with modern paint and clear coat from a real body shop (one associated with our local Honda dealer who I really like their work) and lots of trim pieces replaced with original Toyota parts from my local dealer. I moved out of the country in 2005 and I had planned on bringing my car with me but now I find out that with all the mods it will be too hard to get it registered here in Europe, so I have to sell it and buy another one over here to start over.
This car was absolutely perfect a few years ago -- better than showroom actually because the modern paint is much better than the original 80's paint. It's gotten a few dings and scratches on it since, and a few things have gotten broken and need a bit of attention, but a little TLC and this car would once again be the best MR2SC in the country probably.
