As time goes by we get more and more requests from customers outside the US. There has been enough demand recently that we feel the need to establish an official policy.
PRICING: Parts prices will be the same as US customers pay. However, to cover the additional time spent on export and customs documentation as well as delivering the packages to the post office for shipping, we have to charge an international order fee of 5% of the cost of the parts.
CUSTOMS: Buyers are responsible for any and all import fees, customs, duty, taxes, and brokerage fees. There is no way for us to predict those costs or collect for them in advance. We are legally required to report the actual sale price of the items purchased and cannot fill in lower values to help you cheat customs out of their money. Sorry, but this is my job and I want to keep it!
SHIPPING: We can ship either UPS or USPS. Most international customers prefer USPS. You can get a rough idea of what shipping will cost by visiting
USPS - The United States Postal Service (U.S. Postal Service), but keep in mind that parts often weigh more than you think, especially after they are properly packaged; packages are often larger than you think when parts are adequately protected; insurance adds to the cost of shipping. Use the USPS website as a guide, not as gospel.
PAYMENT: Payment must be by major credit card ONLY. We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, or Discover. Most customers prefer to call on the phone with that information, and our toll free number does work from Canada. We need the billing address for whatever card you pay with in order to charge the card.
OTHER DETAILS: Legitimate, MR2-owing buyers ONLY. Nigerian-style scammers or other lowlifes are simply not welcome. If anything smells the least bit fishy, we reserve the right to refuse the sale. We have enough legitimate customers that we don't need to deal with thieves.
