Royal purple FTW! i've used it on my 2 and it loves it, runs awsome and doesn't smoke one bit with no cats and a blitz nurspec exahust. of course i just did a rebuild
. i use RP in my 99 tacoma, it's so good at restoring power the oversized tires spin all the time now, even my g/f who doesn't like to drive noticed the truck has more power, and it's an auto! $6-8 a quart for this stuff can get pricey, but if you want the best it's really not that bad.
castrol, valve, mobile, royal, amsoil, lucas, and redline are all good oils, just stay away from pensoil, at chrysler, i use to walk back to service like everyday and i've seen many engines opened up, and everytime i see one that is gunked to hell and it pops, the person was using pensoil according to the mech that does the motor rebuilds/swaps.
