Most of you know that the OEM Toyota mats have been discontinued for some time. We were told they were discontinued last year but they kept rolling in to the warehouses every so often. Last time some showed up I bought all the stock I could and we have been storing them until now, getting all the pics and info we need to have a decent replica mat made. We are now ready to sell off our stock. The boss wants all these gone before he will give the go-ahead to tool up for the replica mats.
The fact of the matter is that in order to offer a quality replica of the OEM floormat with the features most people want, we will have to sell them at around $99 a pair. This is due to the lower volume and custom work comapred to Toyota ordering hundreds of the same mats a year for several years in a row.
With that price in mind I think it is fair to charge $99 shipped for the remaining OEM mats. I have seen these mats go for a lot more on eBay, but I don't want to charge absurd prices.
We have four sets of OEM Toyota floormats in stock, available to MR2.com members Friday 03/21/08, starting at 9:00 AM Pacific daylight time. There is a limit of one per customer. Because of their rarity we are limiting these only to people who have not purchased a set within the last year.
