You could use the turbo from that kit but I'm pritty sure that the exhaust manifold would mount the turbo in the wrong spot in your mr2.

You would still need a wastegate. BOV, different injectors, upgrade the fuel pump, another way of controlling fueling, all the intake and exhaust pipes, intercooler, some type of boost controller, and some other items.

Yes the z's pistons are forged plus heat coated..
