Look as far as I'm concerned everyone can buy what they want, but the question was asked and I gave an answer. I don't see why I should have to have used the kit before speaking my mind.
As to your friends experience with the manifold - wonderful! If everything is okay then we're all happy. All I'm trying to point out is that at that price costs have been cut somewhere along the line. If it wasn't so all kits would be in that price range - Q.E.D

If I buy anything retail I shouldn't have to get it checked before I use it, whether it's a turbo or a toothbrush makes no difference!
Just something to think about before buying the ssautochrome kit in my opinion.
