SAFC will not control timing. Unless you have a 93+ with the knock sensor a BTM is a must. Even if you do have a 93 it might be a good idea to start out with the BTM installed and go from there.

I'm still in the process of putting together my 5SFTE. I didn't want to deal with two boxes to tune so I'm running an Emanage. I've heard the SMT6 is also very capable.
