I'm trying to diagnose a noise that only occurs when I accelerate from a stop. One possibility that has come up has been that the pads are contacting the rotor and then getting "stuck" in that position.

How do I go about testing the caliper to see if this is in fact the case? i.e. how do I test the retraction of the pads?

If they are sticking, what do I need to resolve the situation? If it's a seal, are there kits available?
