Hey Mark 1 Kid
Wow, Dude you sound like me about 20 yrs ago.
I wanted to go fender to fender bump racing but, my wallet kept me in Time Trials where me and the Mrs could go real fast on SCCA Bonafied Road Race Courses and then drive the car to work Monday
Eventually, using Old Tech Stuff I lowered the car 3 inches w springs. Our high speed courses lead me to eventually use "fluid" rear struts and gas fronts. Never could afford fancy adjustor type stuff so I made homemade adjustible links for these hugely oversized aftermarket sway bars from the "addco" boys up in W.P.Beach
Dude, you will love the race reliability of this 4a-gze in Stock form even. It'll hug the rev-limiter all day no problemo---
This car mentioned is now for sale in South Florida, sadly..
With the proceeds I'll go back to refurbishing an s/c car somebdy has bent or broken.and on and on..
Barreling down the straightaway into the famous Sebring hairpin or blasting the ovel track at "Talledaga" into turn 4 full speed-Whew ya'll... (adrealine levels thru the roof)
When you think your butt is fast put Goodyear slicks on. Difference is warp speed stuff in the corners..... and more
An experience remembered forever....
Happy Motoring,
mr2tim
