nope not really, papoj ran that exact set up for quit a while with out a hitch. heck, when he gave me a ride in it he even had eleminated the ic (can't remember why at the moment) and it still ran like a bat out of h*ll. it did boost spike on him though, to like 10-12psi but he would let out when that would happen, especially with no ic.
he ran stock fuel and electronics from the 4age, like i said 6-8psi you will be safe. but like with any modified/unmodified car if you drive it hard all the time expect something to break or wear out now and again.
i'm in the process of doing my 4agze to te swap. i plan on running a mitsubishi 14b turbo at around 14-16psi using all stock gze fuel and electronics. i'm still waiting on a certain component to be completed from toyotatechgeek (ttg) on here, he's redoing a gze head for me with 85-86 ge cams.
