I somewhat agree. The MR2 is my fun car/spare, so I'm not concerned with fuel economy so much. That being said... My 5VZ is still in the queue of my machinist for inspection.
However, I feel your pain- I sold my Integra for a Jetta TDi.
The Jetta is nice, and I probably would've done it later on, but it just ate my swap fund alive. I said it before- priorities suck.
