It also depends on the setup of the car as well. Over steer understeer, etc.
Do you ask this because you want to get into drifting with the 2?

I used to race with SCCA and once went into a wall because i just "rode out" a spin instead of applying throttle. I just have always wondered if I should have applied the throttle as the slide started instead of pushing in the clutch and applying the brakes (as we were taught at the driving school). I was asking specifically about a dirt track because I would think that would be the definitive way to answer the question on whether you "wait out the slide" or you "apply throttle" throughout the slide to maintain traction. I have my own opinion about it but I've never found a spot to "drift" experiment or done any dirt racing.
To get back on topic: I've got a jdm exhaust manifold that does not have a port for the egr pipe if you want to go that route.
