Yes, you heard that right. I over-clocked my car... more specifically the 5sfe ECU. Tonight, (drum roll please) perhaps for the first time ever, a 5sfe with a stock computer bounced off it's new 7020rpm rev limiter.
And the cams took it right up there no problem. All that is left is to tune it a little richer with the SMT6 to compensate for the ECU now thinking the engine is not spinning as fast as it really is. That makes my new top speed of... hmmmm let's see... 140mph.
