Toyota MR2 Message Board - View Single Post - Is there really a plate between the motor and the oil pan???

ok so the windage tray is possibly what is hitting that part of the oil pan. if thats the case then i don't need it and should just unbolt it? will it cause any engine problems? kinda nerves me to take out something in there.
