I am not sure which car it came out of for sure. Really the only way to know that is to take the vin on the block to the dealer and ask. Does it matter which car it came out of?
Yes, you should be able to install the plate that's there with the MR2 oil pan. If you or someone you know, is doing the work yourselves be sure to grab the toyota gasket maker for it and have a quarter inch torque wrench on hand. It's crucial to get those bolts torqued down properly so as to avoid leaks.
