Tuner-Deals.com, Online Store has a Haltech E8 plug and play kit (or package, not sure) available for the MR2 so you can save yourself the nightmare and hassle of building a harness for it. Not a bad price too. (I don't work for the website. I simply just saw it while browsing the "other" forum.)
