I have a 92 MR2 with a TRD Quick Shift kit (absolutely love it, very smooth, nice short throws, highly recommend it). According to the instructions that came with it (translated out of Japanese), "Shift Stroke is about 20% shorter than standard lever model after 1/92, about 30% shorter than standard lever model between 10/89 and 12/91." So, according to that, it's 20% shorter than a 93 shifter, throw wise, and 30% shorter than a 91-92 shifter. I think the 93 shifter is 10-15% shorter throw than 91-92, so the above numbers provided should be correct (20% shorter throw than 93+, 30% shorter than 91-92).

I didn't have a 93 shifter before, but I might know of a car with a 93 shifter I can try and to compare the TRD quick shift kit against. If I am able to do that I'll post back.
