are there any custom mr2's out there?

I think mine qualifies as custom... but it matches on both sides... symmetry is our friend people... well mine anyway, you folks do as you please, but even the single-side stock vent drives me nuts so we made our own custom matching pair.

and then the passenger side vent...
Not trying to thread hijack, just showing there are some "custom" deuces out there that don't just have an NACA duct on the side. Some guy had one local and the car was beautiful... aside from the duct, which is definately not my taste, but whatever. Most folks aren't into the NACA ducts, but clearly some folks are because they chop up their quarter panel to add them. You'll probably find someone who won't care or even that likes them, but I know some folks literally cringe when they see those cut into the side. I'm never planning on selling my car, so I don't really care if some folks don't like my scoops... but I've had lots of interest in producing these for sale, so I guess some folks like them! Body alterations are a personal choice... just have to remember potential buyers might not like them. I did a custom decklid too, and we'll be making a custom front airdam soon.
Mine has no badges whatsoever other than the angry chicken badge and two additional angry chicken badges on the front quarter panels, doesn't even have mudflaps right now, but most car people still know exactly what it is and even get the year close. A mailman knew what it was instantly (and loved it). I'm not going to chime in on the paint... other than to say we've got a paint/body shop and that price is way out of line for what we'd charge, but I know two shops locally that do charge around that much for old muscle cars or crazy custom jobs.

Our shop tended to do a lot of work for collectors and muscle car guys... a few racers too, but we just closed down shop and are catchinig up on our projects for a year or two (maybe longer, lol).
Saw that the bidding is ended... congrats on a sale perhaps??
