Well, anything you do yourself (assuming you do it right) will save you money over paying me (or anyone). I have no problems with do it yourselfers. You could assemble and install the engine/turbo/fuel/etc and break it in at low boost on 440's and the stock ECU and then ship the car to us for EMS installation and tuning. Or you could send us the whole car and have us do the whole thing for you. Some people like to be hands on, some people like "turn-key" performance
I will caution you that we (or any shop) don't like half completed stuff with missing fasteners and parts. For example we do not offer any discounts to an owner who "pulls the old motor out for us." We have specific way we do things and the time he thinks he saved in pulling the motor will probably cost him later in missing parts or fasteners.
