You got me there, most of us would need help with getting one
right and light.
Mine would be probably overkill. But no sandwich!

I was just saying that more car guys do have the ability to do things they think
are beyond them, perhaps a tube frame is a bad example but most of us have
learned lots just by trying! You are right about the cage and some other
things should best be done by the professionals. A partial subframe is well
within most anyone's ability if they can weld, but tube frame welders are certified
as I recall. I have certified as a welder in my profession, but that is a far cry from
C 25.1 or whatever it is called for chassis and tube frame welders.
