You can get another 6 or so inches out of the throttle cable in about 5 minutes just by rerouting the cable under the car near the engine bay for a straight-shot. If that fails, you can get even more cable by re-routing it the whole way from the front, but that will be more of a project. 20v swaps deal a lot with this sort of thing- read up in that section for a how-to if you need to reroute it the whole way.


Concerning the speed sensor, the early E153's had mechanical speed sensors as I recall. They *should* be interchangeable, so just pull out the electronic speed sensor, and pick up a mechanical one- install it and you should be good, provided the connector is the same size as the mki's is, and on that I don't know for certain.
