Ive actually decided to use Cat5 cable.
Think about it, you can install RJ45 connections and make it plug and unplug.
But yeah, if you make it modular, its way easier to plug/unplug. And, you can tap power where you did. Cat5 cable is perfectly adequate to carry the signals.
