i just put in a transmission that has around 100k on it and i noticed at first that 2nd didn't seem to want to go in. when you shift into pretty much all the lower gears...2, 4, reverse... you haft to pull the shift knob back and hold it sometimes just to get it into gear. the tranny seems to stift into gear sometimes and other times when i try and shift it is almost like putting the car in neutral.....the gear just isn't there. i also have play in the shift knob on the left of second and the right of reverse. could this be my shift bushings or the linkage? or is it my tranny?

any advice would help...thanks
