re: disabling supercharger

I know this may sound dumb, after you want power but... with current gas prices, it would be nice to have more control of when you use lots of gas.

If one were to put a switch in-line with the supercharger clutch wire disabling the supercharger, would it create any problems for the system?
I suppose it would generate/show an engine fault but other than that, would it be/cause a problem.

Doing this you can stay out of boost when your in city traffic, and can re-enable it when you want it, not when the car want's it.

Thanks,
Jim
