Toyota MR2 Message Board - View Single Post - Could a radio display left on be enough to drain a battery over 3 days?

Actually, I just jump started it. When I put the positive lead on the other car there was a lot of sparks. Is that a sign of something draining? 5 mins after the jump start (after charging the batery) I started the engine again, it was completely drained. Do you think this needs a new battery or is it being drained by something. What could complety drain it in 5 mins?
