stock intake and stock exhaust (perhaps you really should swap out the restrictive MK1 exhaust....that worries me...) *should* in theory make it run 'normal' under load. There is no real reason why your ECU should make your engine run rich (with all OEM intake/exhaust/sensors) unless there is something amiss like a vacuum leak or similar.
So you *should* not need an extra fueling controller unless you have intake/exhaust/cam/valves modifications.
