Stock Throttle body has heating these dont will it cause problems ? As it has the idle control what happens with ITB's. Computer ? So you have Motec and claim idle is stable would this definitely be the case if l went ahead.

1. Yes, ITB's can be enclosed in an airbox. It cuts down the awesome induction noise, but you can run a cold air type intake and filter on it. And actually make gains from more dense air, while potentially keeping a LOT of debris out of the engine. Many race teams enclose their ITB's. I know celica RA45 has, I've seen them on toymods.
Here's a pic or two (hopefully he doesn't mind me posting them):
2. Injectors maybe, fuel pump shouldn't be necessary (refer to #3). Injectors depend on how much difference they make on your particular motor after tuning.
3. ITB's won't make huge gains by themselves afaik. Not over stock components. You'll make some gains, simply because it will flow much better. But, you'd have to match them with cams/exh/ect. The motor as a whole would need to be considered and tuned. What they will do, is give you awesome throttle response/control. And probably also give a nicer midrange, but peak hp won't change a whole lot - I think.
4. Heating throttle bodies is a non-issue unless you live in a cold enough climate that the throttle body has the potential to freeze shut. From what I can tell all the 20v 4ag w/ITB's don't have one of these 'heating' circuits, but I may be wrong on this one.
5. Low speed idle will be stable, thats just a matter of tuning. If you want a 'warm-up' or high idle initially you'll need a stepper motor idle control run by the ECU/Standalone/Piggyback. Tapped into the throttle bodies behind the butterfly's.
