Not at all. I am not attacking anyone here. I'm just suggesting that you turn off the torch, set the hammer down, and study up a little before you break something or waste a bunch of time and money.
I know I come off pretty harsh, but my goal is to raise the level of knowledge and understanding in this forum, not to raise people's self-esteem. I would rather spread good information and prevent mistakes than just tell people what they want to hear and pat them on the back as they destroy their cars. It's more important to me, and more beneficial to you, that I tell you the truth. And the truth is that if you think using a torch and hammer to beat up a muffler will improve it in any way, you need to spend some time reading and learning before you ruin your car or hurt someone.
