Consider perhaps moving to a dealer supplied electric unit instead? Much, much more simplier

Both my 88 and 89 cars have 'em and the engine compartment doesn't look so cluttered and visually messy like in your picture. (Personal opinion, no offense dude)

At the yards in Florida used ones go for $35.

Your gonna gag when the Toyota dealer quotes you his price, if you can even get a 20 year old part from his California supplier, 'cause it ain't be be on the local shelves?
