Shipment of the Rotrex Super chargers has arrived

Will order mine tomorrow.
Hopefully some of you guys can help me with this.
The model ill be getting is the C30-94 . Its good for 200 - 400 horses.
The max shaft speed on the unit is 10,500 rpm.
Now given the diameter of the crank pulley 135 mm , if i put a 90 mm pulley on the SC, at 7,000 rpm engine speed the calculated shaft speed will be 10.500 rpm . The Rotrex still has a safety magine of 20% . But given that that will be to much from what i want to achieve. It equates to roughly 14 psi.
Now i can always put a bigger pulley on the SC so as to decrease the shaft speed = lower psi , but the guru with Rotrexes advises to use the smaller pulley and add a restrictor on the inlet which effectivily reduces the opening from 75 mm down to 30 mm. This therefore lowers the amount of boost but still keeps the high revs of the shaft making a very responsive engine.
What do you guys reckon. Have you ever seen this done with say Turbos ?
