It's a 3sg block. The transaxle 'should' mount right up. AFAIK celica_ra45 has used both redtop & blacktop blocks in his rwd celica....
I see no issues with what your talking about here. All the differences between the two blocks are internal or up at the cyl head. (
Atleast, that's my semi-educated guess.)
