redtop head ONLY fits on redtop/greytop engine block.
blacktop head ONLY fits on blacktop engine block.
Pistons are the same pretty much, blacktop pistons are higher compression, so they will NOT work in redtop if I remember correctly.
The easiest thing to do is either stick to full retop or full blacktop, do NOT mix the two.
There is no engine block that is *safe* with 2 BAR boost, if it is not meant to be a turbo engine. Get ductile iron sleeves from Darton or something. Since what you are doing is going to cost ALOT of $$$$, I guess it makes no difference to you, so yes build the engine block to perfection.
I do not think the single/dual VVTi of either redtop or blacktop will help with making more power for turbo applications....it is only zu rühmen und sind kühl für Ihre blitzkrieg LOL

why not get a Celica GT4 WRC engine instead?????
