Oh, you are working on a SC/Turbo twin charging setup. Hmmm that's ambitious. The SC12 & 14 clutch pulleys are different, but they are interchangeable too. A yota dealership sells them for about $500. They have a brake shoe type friction surface on them, and the electromagnet in them clamps the pulley down and engages the SC, or releases it. This process is subject to normal wear and tear. I can't think of any reason to worry about them wearing out prematurely.
