Crap, for some reason, I have issues reading exploded diagrams unless the entire assembly is there or a shadow of the car, at least.

But the tube I'm looking for is the coolant outlet pipe. There's mention of it here MR2 Technical Knowledgebase - V6 How To-A Visual Aid about 4/5 the way down the article. It shows a picture of the 5VZ coolant outlet in the photo, but the caption makes note that a 3VZ-FE coolant outlet pipe will hook right up without the need for me to reshape the existing one.

Haha, with as awesome as 79 bucks for a gear would be, I was optimistically hoping it would be, say, $60 cheaper. But it looks like I'll be going with the Solara gear.

Oh, and what may or may not be useful for the future... The stock metal throttle body gasket on the 5VZ equipped trucks will work with some trimming of the gasket. I was just hoping to get the rubber one and do it "right" if you will.
