If you want to run open itbs, the blacktop ecu and map sensor is the best way to go. For a turbo setup, an afm would probably do a little better than a 1bar map sensor, which can't really read boost at all. Really, for a turbo 20v something in addition to the stock ecu will be needed. On a side note, I've often wondered if a gen2 3sgte ecu would work well?

As for price, the main cost is going to be in the higher price of the BT ecu. My price stays the same for either ecu.

Another thing. If you're going the ST on BT electronics route, don't bother with a ST swap set. Get just a ST and buy the electronics seperately. You usually pay a premium for an uncut harness anyway, which I don't need. Getting a cut harness, you might be able to offset the added cost of the BT ecu.
