Ok this is the research I found and would like anyone's opinion.
According to
MKI MR2 Write-ups the stock spring rates on the aw11 are: Front=91lbs/in. Rear=131-211lbs/in.
Now the D2 coil overs I will be buying have the set spring rates as follows:
Front=253lbs/in. Rear=393lbs/in. Website says 4.5kg/mm and 7kg/mm.
I used
Spring Rate Conversion Chart link to convert them.
Anyway, custom spring rates are offered.
Would the current spring rate be too harsh for road conditions as a daily driver with the intent on taking to the track? Custom spring rates (3.5, 5, 7, 9, 11, 13, 15, 18, and 22 kg/mm)
