I'm not sure how much the replica is that you're looking at, but the Greddy front lip is so inexpensive that it's not even worth it to purchase a knockoff. I see them consistently priced between 150 and 180... I can't imagine the knockoff being much less than that.
Being polyurethane is a big help as well... I would've destroyed mine a half dozen times without that much needed flexibility.
