the snapon guy even told me to just buy gearwrench brand ratchet wrenches, the bp ratchets had waaaay too much play! very sloppy stuff.

I have been impressed with the durability of various tools from Agri-Supply. They carry King Tony hand tools (not to be confused with King **** ), and I must say nobody at my shop has broken a King Tony socket, ratchet, or screwdriver. We frequently use impacts on the 1/2 in. drive sockets and beat the crap out of the screwdrivers. Even the rubber has not deteriorated a bit after years of use in the shop. Did I mention that King Tony hand tools have a lifetime warranty?

Another tool that I think is a fantastic deal are some of the pliers. Several months ago I purchased a pair of Agri-Supply brand right angle 10" pliers, and they have survived their share of abuse to say the least. One more thing: the Ag-Supply flex head gearwrench knockoffs are also EXTREMELY durable, despite having more play than the Gearwrench brand counterparts.

Sorry for the semi off-topic post.
