The problem is getting a job, i was thinking of doing a student loan and going to be a helicopter pilot, but then i looked at the job stability and it's just not worth it. And looking at the economy it's probably a good thing i didn't, i have an uncle or something (i dont' remember how we're related) who's flying helicopter and has been quite a few years, and he was at the point where he had enough hours that if he left one job he could find another right away and even he got laid off!

I was involved in air cadets locally, it's a youth group kind of sponsored by the military, and i got my private pilots license with them because they have a program to do that.

I worked my ass off to get there, and once i was there i worked my ass off to not get dropped from the course (it's only seven weeks, and if you totally fail at flying you get dropped )

Anyways i finished, and then i was flying like once or twice since, and then just haven't had the money, mainly because it cost so much, and i look at that money and think, well, i could do this to my car...

But the amount of work i did to get there and do it was so worth it, even just for the experience of flying around the east coast vancouver island
