Replace the master cylinder ASAP! The brake fluid is corrosive- it will eat your paint which in turn cause the iron worms (rust) to feast. This is also causing the clutch to lose pressure. Clean up the lost brake fluid before it is too late, maintenance is far cheaper then replacement.
BTW even if the tranny is gone, U still have to replace the Clutch slave cylinder.

Interesting story:
My clutch COMPLETELY and suddenly died. I fondly remember the exact date years later, January 1, 2000 Yeah, I got Y2K'd
I replaced the Master cylinder, cost about $55 and was made in Italy! Took only a few minutes, but did not solve the problem, it was the slave cylinder.
