YES!!! For **** sakes, ChAnGe YoUr TrAnNy FlUiD!!!!!!

It doesn't always show in all the gears, it's really not that complex! Not at all, you in one of your threads somebody gave you all the steps, just follow them and everything should work fine, the big thing is that i think you have to leave it out of gear when you change it or something. If you've got a haynes manual use it for it's step by step instructions.

If you have to get a shop to do it, then do that, but they should basically give you a quote on the spot. F*** em and go to another shop if they don't return your call. Also you could try just going to a toyota dealer to get it done.

Also remember when you change the fluid it won't completely make it all better right away, it takes about a week until everything goes back to normal. And it can make a BIG difference! Get it done ASAP because you are doing some permanent damage to the tranny by not getting it done, it'll be fine for now, but get it done!

Also changing the fluid is 100 TIMES easier than changing a tranny!
