I don't think anything is going to bolt on from the mk2.
A LOT changed, you can't swap disks or anything like that because the mk2's have five wheel studs.
The early mk1's came with a sway bar that you may be able to find, you'd have to make a few mods to get it in, like swap over the strut towers with the mounting bracket, and not sure about the frame mounting points, but you could fab something up.
The 3sgte engine from the mk2 can fit into the mk1 with a bit of work.
