1) Mount the BTM and tac adapter in the engine bay somewhere so all the wires can reach the coil.
2) Hook the black wire of the BTM to ground somewhere like on the strut tower or firewall.
3) Hook the red wires of both the BTM and Tach adapter to the positive on your coil. You may have to open it up to see which one that is or test for 12 volts when the ignition key is on.
4) Cut the wire that goes from the coil negative to the igniter. The Orange wire from the BTM hooks to the coil side and the white wires from the BTM and Tach adapter hook to the igniter side. (Sometimes this Tach adapter wire is black)
That's all there is to it.
