One way to think about it... you cannot just put a 3s head on a 5sfe. It has never been done and is just too much work.
You can however put the 5s block and crank in a 3sge or 3sgte. Pretty much everything else has to come from the 3s, the wiring, ECU, sensors, distributor, cams, manifolds, all of it. Pistons can be from the 5s if you ghetto it but should really be custom made.
