well i got everything from crutchfield its a
Alpine IDA-X200. I picked it up for 149.99 (which its still going for) and thats shipped and the mounting kit, wiring harness and installation instructions (which give details how to remove all the speakers for your car) Free. i love the radio.. no more cds. doesnt even have a slot for it.. right now i use the ipod or a flash drive since thats what its made for.. eventually ill get a small portable usb powered hd to run all my music.
sorry to take it alittle off topic.
oh for anyone deciding to do their own.. the hardest part my mom and i ran across was the top.. orginally it was to big of an opening and we didnt want to have to redo what we already sewed up so she got smart and put a small elastic band at the top. also if ur gonna us a machine its easier to do the top just before u do the last sem to close up all the sides.
the material i used was vinyl since i really couldnt find any leather. but it works just as great. not sure what everyone else was using when they made theirs
