Now you tell me Doug LOL .... Just out of curiousty , where does your coolant guage run ? Just under half way ? Spinetti mounted a fan on the radiator that runs full on all the time , so I am not sure if this is keeping my temps down or if he put a cooler stat in for some reason ..... The heat is also weak in the car even after a hour of driving .... I realize they carry alot of coolant on these cars do to the rad being so far away , but it still seems like its runnin cool ... Oh and is the factory stat a 195 degree ?

Jeff
Jeff, Actually I ran NO FANS AT ALL... It (had) the factory thermo in it. I bought car from the original owner (in totally stock form), and the gauge always read that way. When I put the 20V in, it never changed. The guy that bought it from lived in Texas, and said he never had any temp issues with it either. BTW, the car originally came from Michigan, out in the sticks near Lansing. I moved (with it) to Kentucky, and sold it to a guy in Texas. Sounds like its been around! Glad to see its still kicking. Obviously after going through several owners, its had some other minor changes to it (like the always on fan), but I had a great time with that car. I ran out of garage and had a kid on the way, so had to make room for a 4 dr If you have other questions about it, you can PM me, and I'll see what I remember. I also did a write up that I think many used to do their own conversions... should still be floating around the web somewhere with the details of what I did. BTW, I was rather proud of the wiring, tho I made no attempt to keep AC or cruise. I still have the cruise stuff in the basement I think, lol.
