Thats Right over the last few years I have put my hands on several mr2's only for a few days or weeks before they have been driven off by someone else. I have also purchased and sold three of them (2 mki's and 1 mkii)
Getting tired of seeing everyone else enjoy my work i am finely about to start back on my projects... All tho I still have a miata to put together an Ae86 20v swap to do along with a possible 3rd gen wiring job in a local mkii... and lets not forget to mention getting hitched on the 22nd of may so in reality I probably will not get too in depth with the first gen cars until the second week of june.
But Any way This will basically be my attempt in keeping up with what im doing with my current AW11's.
Back in September i traded my old beater car for a non running n/a 87 w/ a manual trans and $100.00 the interior of this car was filthy but overall in excellent condition.
Some how on my way to pick this up i spotted another black mki sitting in the wood line behind a house... I stopped and knocked on the door and inquired about the car, as we went back to look at it he told me that it was not running and that they could not figure out what was wrong so it was parked a few years earlier. I asked the gentleman if he had the title and what it would cost to remove this from his property; he replied yes and thought about it for a few min and said 500.00.... I preceded to tell him about the deal that I was going to pick up and continued to look over the car for a bit and eventually stood up and offered him 200.00 cash that day for the title in hand. He really did not hesitate to accept my offer, so we finished up and I left to get my orig. car ( coming back to pick this one up later

as you can see there is some pretty good cosmetic body damage all the way around this poor car; but this will end up being the least of its issues
and as for the interior if you can look past all the junk the core of the car is in good shape
